Are you a tight ass? Not in the sense of not wanti

Are you a tight ass? Not in the sense of not wanting to lend a penny to the Girl Guides fundraiser.. But in the sense of tight hips and glutes in pregnancy!?
Did you know that having a $2 tennis ball in your tool bag during pregnancy can actually be a game changer when it comes to releasing tight muscles, glutes and hips, helping our baby move through our pelvis with less restriction & can also help release sciatic pain.

Seriously for a week in my third pregnancy I was backed up to a wall grinding my upper right tooshie into a tennis ball as my sciatic nerve was agonising. A few days of yoga poses and this and my pain completely left me for the rest of my pregnancy.

Another way to use the economical, low cost ‘ye old’ tennis ball is by placing it on the ligaments which are found between your sits bones and tail bone. You can feel for these meaty bits by placing your fingers between the sits and tail bone then cough. You should feel the ligaments tighten. Supporting yourself on your palms as you prop one ball on the side you wish to work first rolling over it by supporting your weight through your arms and moving your hips. I encourage a little bit of rogue movement and focus on points of tension or discomfort to help release the tension.

Get familiar with this region and how we hold a lot of tension through the muscles down their.

Ps- can also be good to release tension through shoulders when used against wall 🙏🏽🤤
