The Positive Birth Program by Hypnobirthing Australia™ course is a childbirth education program which teaches women and their birth partners techniques and a mind-set to have a positive birth experience.
For the biggest life changing experience of our lives too many of us go into our birth with no preparation. We would not run a marathon with no prior training, why should our birth experiences be any different? Preparing helps us to be confident and gives us the strength to go into our birth positively and in control.
Classes include & educate our birth partners on the importance of their roles during the pregnancy and labour. To include our birth support and bring them into our labour experience is an inclusive and integral part of this empowering process. The Positive Birth Program gives them a platform that they can stand confidently on with the right knowledge to help guide their partners forward in a calm, in control direction. With the right support team, we can absolutely set ourselves up to have the positive birth we want and deserve to remember for years to come.
The word Hypnosis can sometimes have a stigma attached to it indicating an out of control state. This is not the case the hypnosis used in my workshops uses hypnotherapy techniques to let go of any fears that we may have about birth, and is also used to condition ourselves to release endorphins during labour- natures natural pain relief. These techniques also allow women to reach a deep state of relaxation, which allows their body to open up without any resistance, and for their natural endorphins to be released. When you hypnobirth you are always in control and will be able to come out of self-hypnosis whenever required. You will actually be in a heightened state of awareness, awake but deeply relaxed.
This workshop helps reverse conditioning in our brain from lifelong suggestions that labour is to be a painful, feared & traumatic experience. This is not the case, we are so lucky and privileged to have the excellent medical care we have, should we need it. We are designed as women to give birth. Just as our bodies know how to conceive and grow our babies. Our bodies know how to finish the job!

We had our whopping little girl on Saturday evening Ayda Anne 9pd 1oz. I had a 38hr successful VBAC and thought of you and what you had taught us LOTS over this time.
